Today was so much fun! It was great to have two new families come along too.

We started with a Hello song and then we introduced ourselves by saying "Wo Shi...." which simply means "I am".

Other ways: Wo jiao (I'm called...), Wo de mingzi shi (my name is...).

Then we sung our classic warm up song, Xiao Xing Xing.

Next we role played the Eensy Weensy spider which was so fun when it rained on the tiny children's hands!

Next we did some sorting activities: green vs orange, matching the animals with their flashcards and sorting "zhu" pig and "zhizhu" spiders into separate boxes.

After this Gari came through with the pumpkins, we danced to the "nangua" song with our mini orange pumpkins and then did some sensory play with spoons- scooping and mixing the seeds.

We finished with the Goodbye song and lots of instruments.

Look forward to seeing you next week, we will be learning about animals!
